No Study Hall

Friday, at 6 AM MT, the power in Cody will be shut off for about an hour so that the power pole can be erected and connected for the grocery store. Please spread the word and make your plans accordingly.

All library books need to be checked in before the end of the school year. Laptops will also need to be checked in as soon as possible. Plan on leaving time between checking in your laptop and asking Ms. Richie to sign you out.

It is time to preregister for classes for the 2012-13 school year. Mrs. Nollette would like to meet with students in Grades 8-11 to discuss the class offerings. To preregister we will follow the schedule below.

Friday, May 18-Grades 8 & 9 will meet in the Distance Learning Room during 1st period study hall. Please check in to your regularly scheduled class and come to the Distance Learning Room.

ALL STUDENTS IN GRADES 8-11 MUST PREREGISTER FOR CLASSES BEFORE CHECKING OUT NEXT WEEK!!!

If a student currently has had 4 days or less of absence since the beginning of the school year, the student will be given the opportunity to opt out of one semester test of their choice, provided that they have at least a "C" (80% or higher) in the class chosen.

You will need to let the teacher know ahead of time if you plan to opt out of taking a test.

Mrs. Cheney has lost her Samsung phone. Please return to Mr. Cheney.

Play practice is on Thursday only.

Jr. and Sr. High Track Teams: If you would like to contribute $1 to Toby L's get well gift please give your money to Mr. Cheney. Thank You

There is an envelope in the office with Toby's hospital address on it, for any awards, certificates, cards, letters, etc that you would like to mail directly to Toby and his family. It will be sent out on Friday, May 18.

Anyone interested in attending the Chadron State Football camp please have your forms AND money turned in by May 22 to Mr. Bode. This is the final deadline. If I don't have it by then you will not be going.

Semester Test Schedule for Grades 7-11: May 21-Semester Tests during Periods 2, 4, 6, and 8. Regular class during the remaining class periods.

May 22-Semester Tests for Periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 with a noon dismissal. Students will be dismissed after lunch if their checkout sheet is complete. If you ride the bus, it is important that all your checkout is complete prior to the bus leaving.

Students - remember that all monies owed to CKUS MUST BE PAID BEFORE CHECKOUT.  This includes but is not limited to books, yearbooks, computer charges, lost or missing items, sports gear, and meal charges.

PLAN AHEAD - SPORTS PHYSICALS WILL BE JULY 16TH AT 5 PM IN CODY.

                     THIS WEEK:           Tomorrow-Ms.Richie will be here @ 2:30 with her dog, Ernie. She has some books that she will read to the students about dogs and will have cookies as well!! She will be riding down on her 'Spider'. Meeting place will be determined. Fire Drill around 10:15 and then a send off for the State Track people.
