ESU AWARENESS
ESU Homepage Usage
How could the ESU Homepage
be a better resource for you? 1.
It
currently serves my needs. 2.
It's good. 3.
I think the media guide for locating DVD and VHS
material is difficult to use. I am new and used to using ESU 8 media catalog.
4.
I can not get my newsletter to open up. 5.
I think it is probably a good resource I just
don't have alot of time to spend on the computer. 6.
I sometimes have difficulty finding things on the
media center, because you have to be pretty specific. It would be helpful if
it would give you options like google does, even if you aren't exactly right.
7.
I wish I had more hours in the day. 10.
It has everything that I need and use. 11.
Have a layout for elementary, middle and high
school schools so we can find information based on the school we teach at (
just a suggestion) 12.
I think its fine for as much as I use it. 13.
I have diffucutlies with the media center
catalog. It needs to be more user friendly. I found
having the info on a CD much faster for searching titles. (Or maybe I need
tutoring on using the site.) Searching for email addresses could also be more
user friendly. 15.
It could feature a bulletin board for posting
technology problems and solutions It could feature "how to's" for
computer hardware and tips and tricks for software It could feature network tools
for monitoring network traffic in real time 16.
I'm new at the school; at this point, I have no
comment 18.
It needs to provide information related to my
career field, agriculture. 19.
Don't have any suggestions right now. 20.
You may need to add some Alternative Education
information and resources as more schools go down this path! 21.
The ESU does a great job of providing what we ask
for, even when sometimes we don't know what we need until we are there and
the ESU has always been good to try to help us figure it out. 22.
I have no complaints at this point. 24.
I need to know that the email addresses are
correct and current. 25.
I feel that ESU 17 is a great resources.
I have no concerns. 26.
I like the fact that it is not continuously being
changed to look different. It's nice to be able to find things where you
expect to find them! When I try to use the link to go to the NDE website and
it is at the bottom of the list, often I cannot get the rest to move up so I
can select it. Can those be made just a little smaller so they all show up in
the drop down that appears? 27.
It does a good job...I just do not always have
time to utilize it completely. 28.
I receive the ASCD Smart Brief. It is a wonderful educational tool that give added research
options. I would love to see the educators and administrators have access to
The Virtual Mentor by Ziggler. 29.
I can't think of any ways to improve it - it has
been a great service to me when I have needed it. 30.
I don't know that it could. 31.
It is already offering many services. I just need
to utilize it more. 32.
I don't really use it that much. 33.
Place job openings on-line so we can see what may
be open around our area. 34.
Possibly looking at Distance Learning
information, such as Renovo links, classes, areas, etc. 35.
I think it is very helpful as it is. 37.
I would like to see more classes available
locally for my area of teaching- fine arts. 38.
I think the ESU Media Catalog search could be
better organized. 39.
Come to my school more often..
40.
Time becomes an issue and the computer is the
last place I go! 41.
\i do not haveenough time to sit at the computer.
\not enough hours in a day. 42.
no response at this time, is affective 43.
Can't think of anything right now. So far, doing
a good job as is. 44.
I have problems using the media center search. It
seems like I spend lots of time "spinning my wheels." 45.
I am pleased with the site. 46.
I would like the media catalogue a little easier
to use. 47.
I think it is fine for my needs. 49.
The home page is pretty blah compared to the
other ESU's. 50.
I am satisfied with the current services! 51.
The work and ideas that the ESU offers is
outstanding. I'm sure your group offers the very best that can be offered.
Thank you for all that you do for us in rural 52.
I doubt if it could be better, because I seldom
use it. 53.
It's a great resource! Awareness and Utilization

HEALTH
SERVICES
Which of the following are currently student health/safety concerns in your
school district that impact school nursing? Mark all that apply.
What is your level of preparedness
regarding the following emergency situations?
Does your district have a
current emergency preparedness plan that addresses all the emergency
situations in question 1?
Do you have a role in your
district’s emergency preparedness plan?
Please comment on ways in which
the Health Services Department can support you. 1.
I used to have a role in the emergency plan. 2.
It might be best to require teachers to take
first aid every school year. 4.
I would like to see more training on recognizing
signs of drug abuse and how to deal with behavioral issues. 5.
I think that they have given us information as we
need it. 7.
A refresher course on diabetic reactions and what
to do in this situation might be helpful. 8.
I am satisfied with the support that we receive. 9.
I think they do a great job. 11.
Keep us up to speed on all the diseases
,and how to treat or prevent them. 12.
Continue to provide training. 13.
We use them to teach about germs, drugs/smoking. 14.
Maybe offer some extra training for new teachers
or teachers who are new to the school. 15.
I believe that the ESU Health Services go above
and beyond the call of duty in my school district. 16.
I think that they can support us by keeping us
informed on any contagious outbreaks and to continue to educate us on
prevention. 17.
To possible set up some mock situations for
students, staff, etc to help to deal with emergency situations. 18.
Obviously the pandemic question has not yet been
addressed in the educational arena to my knowledge. 19.
Keep having teacher inservices to update current
health issues. 20.
Nursing services provided are great and very
proactive in their approach. Crisis team training is somewhat difficult to
maintain for staff, but understandable because of numbers. Pandemic planning
is probably the area that as a district, we are least informed about. 21.
I have never heard mention of pandemic outbreak
planning. Is there a plan in place? 22.
I feel that our district needs to have a more
exact health policy pertaining to student illness and medicine distribution. 23.
inform us of the current issues and keep us
informed about the progress of the panademic outbreak issue 24.
By providing the appropriate materials needed,
and eduaction on how to use it. 25.
I think our building needs more in depth training
for ALL personnel, not just educators, for ALL emergency situations.
Including, walking through a "Mock Emergency" as the community does
for adequate preparedness. 26.
I feel we are prepared for the day to day, but
never enough. We are NOT prepared for thePandemic Flu nor
for MERSA but then again no one really is at this point. We need to be always
headed down the path of knowledge in these severe issue areas. 27.
Be available and provide Consultation when needed
and requested 28.
Continuing updates when things change - such as
the change in CPR. 30.
I would like your health professionals to be more
visable. We only see them during health checks and then they are gone. 31.
Workshops on various things that affect the
students. 32.
School assembly to talk to all students about flu
season and prevention of spreading. Movies to teach about teen driving, the
risks of drinking, smoking, Maybe panels of young people who have experienced
teen pregnancy. Literature / movies on sexually transmitted diseases. Drugs -
the people who have first hand experience of what they will do to your life.
I lost a brother to drug addiction. He was 47 years old. He had nothing to
show for his years here except three children that he couldn't do much for
because he couldn't help himself. 34.
We COULD NOT function here without the school
nurse that the ESU provides. 35.
More visits with the students on latest issues. 36.
Information at meetings and in-service for
teachers 38.
I am on the crisis response team for our school.
Several of us just attended workshops to advance our level of training and we
added a staff with the first level training. We are planning an afternoon meeting
of the crisis team to update our proceedures and then will present to the
whole staff in the November teacher in-service. So as of this date our
readiness is in my opinion--somewhat prepared until we get the staff all in
the know and the handbook for crisis response. 39.
Help in the organization and review of proper
procedures. 40.
Provide more information on things listed above. 41.
They could provide more information. 42.
May need some workshops for all teachers to be
involved in the crisis situations. Help with practicing make believe
situations. 43.
teach a 1st aid class to students 44.
Planning pandemic outbreak response, supporting
local changes to meet response needs for intruder/lockdown. Presentations for
students on personal health issues. 45.
In response to above question #2, I believe that
our district has a preparedness plan for all but the Pandemic Outbreak issue.
50.
Additional training for injuries Training for
pandemic outbreak 51.
Continue inservices on CPR and related health
issues. 54.
Everything seems to be going well. 55.
Health Services do an excellent job of meeting
the students' needs. 56.
pleased with support receiving 57.
Often, even when your
trained in certain situation, the school views our opinions as NOT usefull
because of our position in the school. 58.
The nursing person at our school is terrific. I
appreciate all she does. 59.
I can't think of anything that needs to be done. 60.
More in house training .
Better communications! 61.
Pandemic outbreak planning---???? How much should
the classroom teachers become involvedwith treating such things as asthma and
diabetics? Liability issues???? 62.
(name) does a very good
job with the teachers and the students needs. She has a wide variety of ages
to cover and does well with all of them. 63.
Alternative way off the third floor. Information
about the Regional pandemic plan. What is the plan for possible quarinteen if
needed. *ex TB 65.
The yellow envelope in our rooms need to updated
for evacuation procedures 66.
It needs to be upadated and made current! 67.
I could use more information/training in regards
to the medicl emergency issues.
Although I knkow we a selected group of staff members trained in these areas. Health Services:

How might the Annual Media
Meeting be improved to encourage greater participation?
1. It
is my impression that the date is more of an issue as far as people being
busy/already scheduled, but I am not sure how accurate that is. I am also
wondering if fall might be better or adding a fall meeting as every spring I
think there is so much more that I need to get info to my teachers on and by fall, that excitement and energy has faded. If we had the
meeting in the fall, it would be a great way for me to kick off the year.
That is just my opinion, however, two meetings might be too much, but at the
same time, it is valuable networking and sharing ideas.

Comments:
1.
I would like more trainings and classes.
2.
I'm usually not aware of staff development
opportunities.
3.
I have never participated in any class provided
by ESU17, so I don't know.
4.
At the current time I do not have a need for
prof. development.
5.
I would like to see basic computer classes, and
those who are computer smart not be in the class with us.
6.
at this time I am looking elsewhere for college
credit
7.
I would like to see more opportunities.
8.
I realize it is difficult to bring staff
development to this area for "specialized areas"
, since this only affects a small number of staff. I am not offered
enough in my content area as far as staff development goes.
9.
We could receive information about special
classes that would be beneficial to us. Some funding for college courses.
Allow paid time for staff to visit about students and other school related
concerns. Speakers like congressman, retired school professionals, etc...
10.
I would like to see more available to the special
areas like fine arts.
11.
Opportunities are inconvenient, during to school
day is reasonable but I am not usually willing to take a day off even if a
training session appeals to my interest and needs. It takes too much time
preparing to be gone and getting organized when I return, then I have no time to practice and implement what I have
learned, so it seems futile. What is offered is often very good and the staff
is great, I just can't utilize them.
12.
most sessions I've seen listed are about
technology - I would like to see behaviorial assistance, learning
disabilities etc sessions
13.
Does ESU 17 collaborate directly with the schools
so that the professional development activities that the ESU offers apply to
the schools' improvement action plans?
Please comment on other
ways in which the Staff Development Department can support you.
1.
I would like to have training conducted at our
school.
3.
You always offer plenty of opportunities for
staff development.
4.
Inform teachers what standards we need to test
each year.
5.
Offer more subject oriented in-service. I think
that I could also benefit from some software expertise. I didn't take Garage
Band when offered, but now I know more about it and am interested. I need
some advance training with programs like excel or word processing.
6.
Oh, they could make up some little yellow ribbons
that say "Support Our Teachers" and pass them around, and put signs
in everyone's front yard, and have a parade downtown for us, and have party
streamers and balloons.
7.
I am very pleased with the different types of
classes that the ESU provides.
8.
To have mini computer classes at each school
9.
The inservice on Myelearning has been very
valuable to me. I would like to have more on site here
in VHS so other teachers could have a little "hands on" activity.
Even though I have presented to the VHS faculty, without the other teachers
being able to "use" it in situ, there doesn't seem to be a great
deal of interest.
10.
Is the newsletter still sent by email? or do I have to go find it for myself. I'm not likely to
go looking, so a lot of the time I'm unaware of workshops.
12.
You are great! Doing a fantasitc job.
13.
I really do appreciate it when Staff Development
opportunities can come to us. I do understand the need to meet centrally as
well. A balance is nice due to our district expense and time for traveling in
another time zone. (Did I mention that it is currently more difficult to
procure subs? Thanks
14.
I have never received a news letter
15.
Because small schools usually have only one
teacher teaching an entire subject area, it would be helpful to have an
online location to chat with other teachers in the ESU that also teach that
same subject. Perhaps you already have that and I just am unaware of it and
do not use it.
16.
I would like to see Para's invited to the
parent/teacher conferences. I really believe we should be there. Let the
parents meet the people who work one on one with their children all school
year.
17.
Offer more development opportunities.
18.
I was not aware of the Media information
available in the ESU17 web site according to the survey requested
information. I did not mark the information in the media area because of
dissatisfaction, but I did not mark in the media area because of lack of
knowing that the information was available in the web site.

know when you have that figured out!
25.
Professional learning communities training here
in Ainsworth. Book clubs to study different methods or strategies of
instruction.
26.
More college credit classes
27.
No suggestions at this time.
28.
Staff Development is excellent. There is a great
variety of choices through out the year.
29.
It seems like there are fewer college credit
classes being offered. Why?
30.
The training needs to match the job. Often new
Paras are jetted into a position with out any training on the school
supplies, staff, room procedures, even lunchroom standards. I think that his
cause great stress to new staff and hard feeling if they are not working out
well. Perhaps a few classes on exact wording for forms, or how to communicate

How can ESU 17 support your
district in the area of CURRICULUM?
1.
I don't think it's possible for our ESU to
support every teacher and every district in all of the areas of curriculum.
3.
More help with the alignment of the curriculum to
the standards
4.
I do not know that they can; we are the biggest
district in our consortium; therefore, we offer the most thorough cirriculum
of the schools in the consortium. I believe there are few classes offered in
other schools that are not offered here.
5.
Having (name) available for the district to assist
with standards and assessment has been very beneficial.

Helping us through a process to keep on a

what is best for our school.

Please comment on other
ways in which the Technology Department can support you.
1.
I feel they do the job they are allowed to do , meaning our school district is not always supportive of
the ESU services as we are told to use the Valentine system and we have
experienced previous conflicts with Valentine, so we really have no choice.
Enough said.
2.
More support time in our building
3.
I still receive too many e-mails that should
filter out. I would guess that 90% of the e-mails I receive, I never open. My
filters at home do a better job with this and I would expect a school to be
more discerning.
4.
don't know, can't think of anything
5.
All computer processes have issues now and then,
and that is what concerns me. However, any time we have ever had a problem,
ESU employees have been extremely helpful in working toward solving the problem.
I don't know why Valentine doesn't utlize their distance learning or video
conference opportunities better, but I don't think that is related to the
services the ESU provides.
7.
I am getting unsolicited emails that the smart
filter is not stopping. What can I do to stop those emails? I
8.
Again there are a number of things I would like
to do like webhosting or video conferencing for my students with other
classrooms or schools, but I don't know how and would like more info. Most of
the conferences I have attended through the ESU have been really helpful for
me as a teacher and for the students especially the technology side. (name) and (name) are great.
9.
come to the school and offer us training in using
software--our tech person never has time to teach us these skills and gets
angry when we ask
10.
With the updates in distance learning, I am
anxious to see what happens as we begin to use some of the other services.
11.
Internet is still very slow
12.
The ESU email is my main email account and how I
communicate with my staff. I have been very dissatisfied with all of the junk
email that has been coming through. Much of it could be labeled pronography.
Is there any way to eliminate all of the junk?
13.
Continuing to offer staff courses that will help
enhance student learning is great. STARS work via distance learning would be
very helpful.
14.
Keep doing what you're doing. Ihave always
received prompt, courteous answers and help from the
ESU staff.

Please provide comment on the
quality of the products you receive from Coop.
1.
The products are fine. The concerns
is the time in which it takes the orders to arrive.
2.
It seems that each year we need to make our
orders earlier and some things still do not arrive before the start of
school. I know that purchasing through the ESU saves the districts money, and
it takes a lot of time and effort to compile the huge amount of orders, but
twhen things do not arrive in a timely manner it can be very frustrating.
Also, the catalog is not very user friendly.
3.
Some products are satisfactory, but there are
some, such as glue sticks that were not usable, dried out.
4.
I feel they are of excellent quality.
5.
For the most part they are OK
6.
The description of the items is critical. A good
description allows us to know what we can expect to get.
7.
Some of the items that are received from the Coop
order arrive after the beginning of the new school year. I would like to have
all of my supplies before school starts. We do put our orders in early enough
for the school to get the items ordered.
8.
I hated to mark not satisfied, because some
things are okay. However, there are some products which are substandard and I
will no longer order from Coop if I'm allowed to order elsewhere.
9.
The Products that we use are good.
10.
My experience has been top quality products.
11.
As the products are very affordable, sometimes
the quality suffers.
12.
I wish that the handwriting paper was of better
quality.
13.
Materials don't arrive in time for the beginning
of the school year. I am often short of supplies for the first month until
the Coop order arrives.
15.
The descriptions given in the catalog or not
descriptive enough, so often times I am unsure of what I am actually getting.
Products do not seem to arrive in a timely matter or do not arrive at all.
16.
I know that it would be a big job for someone, but
photographs in the catalog would help tremendously.
17.
I can't generalize something like that. some stuff is top quality and great stuff, and some stuff
is cheap and not a good value. It just depends on what you buy.
18.
Some of the school products we receive from the
Coop are not quality products. For example, I have numerous pens that I
cannot use because the ink does not work.
19.
Many products are simply "cheap" and do
not hold up. Certain products I will not order from Coop.
20.
I think pretty much everything we have gotten has
been really good quality.
21.
Sometimes the quality of pencils and pens is not
good. I have had chairs crack, also.
22.
construction paper is not good
23.
I had one VCR not working, but replaced. About
6-7 years ago I had one overhead mirror broken and took 3/4's of the year to
obtain mirror replacement. I had some book-ends of what I considered poor
quality as they didn't hold books up as they just bent over. I could not get
them replaced. Otherwise, the majority of supplies I receive is of a quality product.
24.
Some of the playground balls-volleyballs weren't
good quality. One wouldn't inflate and the other one lasted one day.
25.
Some products don't necessarily function as well
or as efficiently as they might. For example, our media specialist purchased
vcr/dvd players which were not cable ready. Who in the world would even chose
to put that kind of out moded, antiquated type of machine in our catalog?
26.
Sometimes the quality of the products aren't very
good and don't last as long. poor quality and it
never all gets here when school starts. Rubber bands break on first usage,
pencils are of poor quality, markers are dried out when new etc.
27.
Sometimes the descriptions are not adequate as to
what you are actually getting which happened to our district with VCR/DVD
player which are unable to record.
28.
A better description of products available would
be appreciated. For instance, last year we ordered many boxes of
"Sharpie" markers, and what we received was not the kind we assumed
they were when ordering.
29.
Product quality has been fine and has seemed to
improve over the past few years.
30.
Some items from CooP purchasing are very cheap
items and do not last very long
31.
I have been very dissatisfied in the way that
things are delivered. Often it's nearly December before we get things, at which
point we've had to go to another vendor. I don't like that we can't return
items that aren't what we wanted. There are some items where quality has been
sacrificed for price and we aren't really getting our money's worth because
the product is shoddy.
32.
I have no concerns with the quality of the
products.
33.
Anything that has not been satisfactory was
directed back to ESU and they resolved the problem.
34.
very satisfied with the items I have used
35.
Usually the coop products are just fine... pencil
sharpeners are another issue... they do not last!
36.
PE equopment is poor quality.
37.
All products are of excellent quality.
38.
Anything that I have gotten from ESU has been
just fine and I always know that I can call for assistance if I need to.
39.
This is really not in my realm.
40.
The quality of most of the
products are fine. We occassionally receive handwriting paper that is
too waxy to actually write on.
42.
From time to time an item, that is provided by a
vendor, slips by that is sub standard. The screening
process could be improved. Maybe have more items required samples, or use
more onlys.
43.
We only receive food from Commodities
44.
Furnace Filters are of real good quality trash
can liners have really improved, they do not tear apart as much, when you
open them, still hav a few.
45.
The quality varies greatly.
46.
The quality of the art supplies has increased by
100% since I started teaching 25 years ago. They are very open to adding new
products upon request. I greatly appreciate the cooperation and yearning to
meet the needs of the state in cooperative purchasing products for our
school.
47.
I am very satisfied with what you offer.
50.
This year the orders have not been timely, I am
still waiting on items ordered.
51.
I think the quality of the
Coop's services are very good.
52.
the quality of supplies that are student used do
not last -
53.
\i think they are
cheaply made.
54.
Many times the quality is not good, it is very
cheap!!!!
55.
Pencils are not very good quality.
56.
Usually satisfied. i am
no longer able to use these sevices.
57.
Some are great, others aren't.
58.
I am not happy with the quality of the sports
balls and equipment that I have received. They have always been inferior
quality.
60.
Some are not good. Quality is cheap.
61.
Appreciate this valuable service.
62.
The stuff I receive from Coop sometimes is a bit
poor in quality.
64.
The coop purchases usually are not quality items.
65.
Multimedia Projector works great.
66.
Some has been OK but I have had some poor quality
merchandise from Co-op purchasing also!
67.
I have been very satisfied with the things I have
received.
68.
Some of it is of high quality while other objects
I buy do not even last through the school year.
69.
Some of the school supplies (pencils, pens, etc.)
are poor quality
70.
If they buy name brand and quality brands the
products are fine.
71.
The quality is NOT always the best!!!
72.
The products are fine. The concern is the time in
which it takes the orders to arrive.
Please comment on other
ways in which ESU 17 can better serve your school district’s purchasing
needs.
1.
Other than that, there is no problem
. We don't always have the choice any longer on what we get.
2.
It would be better if we didn't have to go
through the central school office.
3.
Getting the materials ordered to the schools
before school begins in the fall.
4.
It would be wonderful if the supplies were all
here at the beginning of the school year.
5.
All Science supplies could be developed into one
order and then bid to major Scientific company's.
6.
Include photos of items that may be unfamiliar as
to what we might be ordering
7.
Have everything that is ordered come in on time.
8.
-deliveries before school starts -identify by
teacher if an item is ordered by an individual -method for returning items
defective or not meeting expectations ex.: received battery charger, but no
batteries- the charger is no longer needed
9.
Is it possible to know when an item will not be
delivered-I have not yet received batteries for two of my buildings, but the
third has theirs. Last year, we never received post-it
notes in one building. It is frustrating to say the least.
10.
This is my first year of teaching, and I have not
yet ordered from ESU 17.
11.
It seems to me that the pricing isn't all that
great, I have found many instances where I can buy the same thing for less money
from other vendors, I don't think the school needs to make one huge lump
purchase in the summer intending to get through the entire school year, I
think you need to buy what you need, then when you run out, go buy some more,
once a month, or once a quarter. I have seen piles and piles of Co-op stuff
brought into the high school, and never get used, because way more was
ordered than we could ever use. I think the co-op purchasing thing needs a
whole new makeover. Rather than once a year purchase, the co-op needs to be a
store where we can call any day of the year and order one or two of
something, just the amount we need for immediate use.
12.
I have been seeing some trouble with the food
ordering with Pegler. The salesman doesn't always stop each week and if he
misses us it seems he doesn't worry about getting my order. I usually end up
running him down. I know he says he has too big a territory.
13.
If could possibly purchase throughout the school
year
14.
Please consider quality along with price when
making choices for the catalog.
15.
purchase better quality materials
17.
I am concerned about the timeliness of receiving
orders from the coop. It is November and some supplies have still not
arrived. Last year there were supplies that were never received.
18.
Try to ask vendors to have supplies to school by
August 1 so we can be better prepared for our students.
19.
I have always been impressed with the ESU. The
people that serve them are great and really know their business. They are
always a pleasure to work with.
20.
I would like to have more guidance on the
mandated forms---poverty plan etc. Working together to get these forms
completed.
21.
better selection in the
Industrial Tech area (more tools).
22.
Make sure the teachers and staff
know of the Cooperative Purchasing opportunities and not just the
administration.
23.
Be sure it is easy to comment on what is top
quality and what isn't. I liked trying some things out for a company last
spring. Could we do that sometimes???
24.
Let us know what products are available before we
have to submit budgets.
26.
Ainsworth Schools staff
is not allowed to see the catalog....why?
27.
Ainsworth needs to better inform teachers of the
co-op. Seems to me like it is kept a secret around here.
28.
Is there some agreement with businesses to return
defective things???
29.
Make the Coop catalog available to the classroom
teachers
30.
As I said before, I think our ESU does a fine job
serving our districts
31.
Make sure the company is of high reputation and
the products meet the standards set by science companies.
32.
Please allow our feedback to be shared. Others may
be having same difficulties.

Please provide comment on
how ESU 17 processes the delivery of your coop order.
1.
I don't know what is possible. It is a problem when
items arrive after the beginning of the school year. Is it possible to get it
earlier. Is it possible to know which items will not
be arriving until after school starts. There are
some things that I would get elsewhere if I knew they weren't going to be
here.
2.
Our custodians usually travel to Ainsworth to
pick it up & bring it back here.
3.
I wish we could get the items ordered earlier in
the summer but I know that is out of your control. You can't deliver items
that you haven't received yet.
4.
There is such a huge quantity of supplies that
there are bound to be complications. ESU has worked very hard in coordinating
this process smoothly, and I applaud their efforts. I wish the delivery of
the supplies was more convenient, at least not so spread out over a long time
period. It would be great if we could pick up all our materials within a
couple weeks, and not wait too long to check in the supplies. However, again,
I don't think that is the fault of the ESU. They do a fantastic job of
sending on the supplies as soon as they are received.
5.
Seems well organized. The timing of the paper
delivery process is sometimes difficult.
6.
We are all still adjusting to consolidation. I am
confident it will get better.
7.
I have not had to do the coop purchasing order
for the last three years. The other secretary has done it but I am aware of
how it is going and there seems to be no problems.
8.
all aspects are very
well accepted. Your staff does a great job.
9.
I am not directly involved with the delivery. It
seems that some years we don't get everything, but it could very well be
taken at the other school and just never makes its way to our school.
10.
The majority of Coop delivery issues are good. It
is the few problems that always stick on your mind. I have experience with
the Coop order process and know the work that goes into it. At times, Coop is
at the mercy of dishonest vendors. All in all, the Coop ordering system is
great and saves the school districts millions of dollars. Damages and
shortages issues are also heavily influenced by the individual Vendors that
are involved with each specific damage or shortage.
How satisfied are you with
the resolution of delivery issues such as damages and shortages?

Comments:
1.
don't have a preference
between paper/pencil or electronic. I think the important thing is that you
have to decide if you were able to get the information that you need.
2.
It was very easy to navigate, but it took me
much longer than expected, because I decided to actually THINK before
responding. It also took me about 20 minutes to figure out what my job title was, so that about broke my brain. Maybe I'm just in a
"comment" mood, but I thought of lots of comments in places where
there was no choice to place a comment.
3.
It would be better if the survey only had the
routing questions once--it was a waste of time to answer the same question
more than once.
4.
It seems cumbersome to have to constantly
click on the "choose your status" link to go to the next question.
Once I have chosen my status as "teacher" my job title is not going
to change during this survey so it is a waste of time to constantly have to
click 'teacher' eight times or however much that occured. Somebody wasn't
thinking very clearly.
5.
As with any "canned" survey, there
were times I wanted to answer "sometimes agree, sometimes
disagree". I could not always give a true answer because of the
limitations of the survey.
